Routine Maintenance Precautions for Large Straw crushers

2025/08/11

Routine maintenance precautions for large straw crushers are as follows:

1. External Cleaning: After each use, use a cleaning tool to remove dust, straw debris, and other debris from the exterior of the fertilizer equipment. Stains on the equipment casing can be gently wiped with a damp cloth, but be careful to prevent water from entering the motor and other electrical components.

2. Internal Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior of the shredder chamber. Disconnect the power to the equipment, open the inspection door of the shredder chamber, and use a dedicated cleaning tool to remove any remaining straw debris.

4. Blade Replacement and Installation: When replacing blades, be sure to use blades that match the original equipment model. Before installing a new blade, ensure that the blade is correctly positioned and the mounting bolts are tightened.

After installation, manually rotate the main shaft of the shredder chamber to check for any collisions between the blade and the inner wall of the shredder chamber or other components.

6. Bearing Maintenance: Regularly check the lubrication of the bearings. You can determine whether the bearings are sufficiently lubricated by observing the oil level indicator on the bearing seat. Selecting the appropriate lubricant is crucial. Generally, the appropriate grease or lubricant should be selected based on the equipment's operating environment and requirements.

8. Electrical wiring inspection: Check that the electrical wiring connections are secure and that the wires are free of damage, aging, and other signs of damage. If any wires are damaged, wrap them with insulating tape. If the wires are severely aged, replace them promptly.

The above maintenance measures can significantly reduce the failure rate of your straw shredder, extend its service life, and improve production efficiency.
