Protective measures should be taken to protect belt conveyor from rain and water

2024/02/22

In the case of rain and water, the belt conveyor does need to take protective measures to ensure the normal operation and service life of the organic fertilizer equipment. Here are some suggestions:

1. Build a protective cover: Install a protective cover for the belt conveyor to prevent rain from pouring directly onto the equipment. The shield should be reasonably designed and easy to maintain and repair.

2. Elevating conveyor: If conditions permit, the belt conveyor can be installed at a higher position to reduce the possibility of rain wetting the equipment.

3. Drainage facilities: Drainage facilities, such as drains, are set under the conveyor to facilitate the rapid discharge of rainwater and reduce the risk of equipment being soaked by water.

4. Moisture-proof measures: For electrical control systems, moisture-proof measures should be taken, such as the use of waterproof junction boxes, sealed electrical switches, etc.

5. Regular inspection: Before the rainy season, carry out a comprehensive inspection of the belt conveyor to ensure that the equipment is in good condition and the problems are dealt with in time.

6. Equipped with emergency equipment: Prepare some commonly used emergency maintenance tools and spare parts, so that in the case of equipment problems can be quickly repaired.

7. Strengthen monitoring: Through the monitoring system to understand the real-time operation of the belt conveyor, find problems in time to deal with.

8. Training operators: strengthen the training of operators, so that they can master the operation and maintenance knowledge of the belt conveyor, and improve the ability to respond to unexpected problems.

Through the above measures, the failure rate of the belt conveyor in the rain and water environment can be effectively reduced to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
