On the powder organic fertilizer production line, preventing caking is the key to ensuring product quality and storage stability. The following are some effective measures to prevent caking:
1. Raw material selection and processing: Try to choose dry and non-hygroscopic raw materials, such as humic acid, amino acids, etc. Ensure that the moisture content of the raw materials is as low as possible and avoid using materials with high moisture content.
2. Add anti-caking agents: During the production process, add an appropriate amount of anti-caking agents, such as talcum powder, humic acid or surfactants. These substances can form a protective layer on the surface of the particles, reducing the adhesion between the particles.
3. Optimize production processes: Choose to carry out production in seasons with low humidity and moderate temperature, and avoid production during the rainy season or high-temperature seasons.
4. Granulation technology: If conditions permit, the adoption of granulation technology can effectively reduce caking. The contact area of round particles is small and they are not prone to crystallization and caking. Adding a coating process during the granulation of organic fertilizer equipment further prevents the fertilizer from caking during storage.
5. Packaging and Storage: Use moisture-proof and breathable packaging materials, such as polyethylene film bags, to reduce the absorption of external moisture by the fertilizer. During storage, control the stacking height of the fertilizer to avoid caking due to squeezing. Store the fertilizer in a well-ventilated, dry and dark warehouse to avoid moisture.
6. Regular inspection and handling: Regularly inspect the stored fertilizers. If any lumps are found, deal with them promptly, such as by mechanical crushing or manual turning.
Through the above measures, the caking phenomenon of powdered organic fertilizers during production, storage and transportation can be effectively reduced, and the product quality and market competitiveness can be improved.
